Winter Wonderland

I was just watching a web cam broadcast of White Tail ski resort which was reported to be on fire. This startling view into a tragedy turned out, by all reason to be false. An optical illusion caused by the flood lights.

While this inferno was happening in my mind, I browsed the White Tail Website. They were so cheerful about winter and skiing! Lines like "8 To 10 Inches Of Fresh Powder Fell From Heaven Sunday Night " and "It will be a great powder day."

The contrast shocked my thinking.

I 'm gonna enjoy winter from now on.
